Things made from Japanese denim and indigo-dyed textiles — totes, aprons, folding fans, furoshiki. Each piece is made in Okayama or by makers working within the same indigo craft tradition.
Japanese denim is woven on narrow shuttle looms and dyed with indigo that fades slowly, along the exact lines of use. The longer you use these pieces, the more personal they become. That is the nature of the fabric, and the reason we carry it.
